On the 26th of January each year, Indians enthusiastically observe Republic Day, expressing immense pride. We proudly raise our national flag, sing the anthem, and partake in parades, reflecting on our history and aspiring for a brighter future. It’s a day to swell with pride and proclaim Jai Hind! Speaking of Republic Day celebrations, &TV artists express their pride and patriotism. These include Ashutosh Kulkarni (Krishan Bihari Vajpayee, Atal), Geetanjali Mishra (Rajesh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan), and Shubhangi Atre (Angoori Bhabi, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai). Ashutosh Kulkarni, essaying Krishan Bihari Vajpayee in &TV’s show Atal, says, “Republic Day is a day that resonates with pride and patriotism. It is a time to reflect on the incredible story of our nation and the shared values that bind us together. It’s a day when the tricolour flag waves high, symbolising the unity and diversity that defines our nation. I enjoy watching the celebrations on television, reflecting on the sacrifices of those who paved the way for our democratic journey.
